It was at least 4 feet long!!! I was getting ready to walk down the street to my neighbor's house and I just happen to look across the street into my other neighbor's yard and that is when I saw it. Needless to say me, Jackson, and Link all ran back inside to get Chris. As usual he thought I was yelling for him to come downstairs just for the fun of it, so he took his time. I brought him outside and showed him the snake and that was when he informed me on what it was. Now anybody who knows me knows how I feel about animals....ALL animals. I never want to see one get hurt. We see snakes all the time around here and I just let them go about their buisness but this thing was to dangerous to leave loose. All 8 of us ( everybody in the culdesac area) took a vote and we decided to kill it. So Chris brought out the shotgun. We let our neighbor the cop kill it.....only because it is illegal to kill the snake and we figured he would get in the least amount of trouble. 
Here are the boys (3 of them....the 4th one...Mr. Hollywood...had to go in and finish dinner. He is another blog himself lol) trying to cut the head and rattle off. It was a crazy end to a quiet Sunday afternoon!!
